If you like Ai No Kusabi this is the book to read (the complete series actually by Kira Takenouchi.) It fleshes out the entire concept and delves deeper into the relationship between Riki and Iason, as well as many of the secondary characters. I tried other books and they are no where near as descriptive and well written as these. Costly but worth it!
One of the best stories I have read. I love the original anime of Ai No Kusabi, and these books just bring that world into a whole new life and perspective. Brilliant and sexy and a must read. I highly recommend this series. The author really makes this world come alive and its is very addicting.
I was worried about this being as good as the anime, but it’s better. It’s not the official story but it’s based on it and even better
Loved it, and had to buy the rest in the series.
I am a fan of this author and can not wait to read the next Volume, which is out but not available anywhere yet.
Kira's work is absolutely amazing - the world's she creates and the character's she comes up with are all so dynamic! Her work is beautifully written and I recommend her to all of my friends!
Came quickly and in perfect shape. Just think that all should know though, that while these were good books, they are not actually part of the original story.They are basically written as filler by a different author and are mostly graphic scenes of intimacy.So if you've read the original story(which I strongly recommend! Especially reading that first)then these books are not an extension of that story. Which I kind of thought they were when i first got them. They were still good, but like I said, basically filler porn.
Never in my life have I enjoyed a book series as much as I have this one. Never before have I had to repair the spine of a book with tape from how many times I've read it. If you can name an emotion, this series will make you feel it. It will move you to tears and have you nailed to the edge of your seat in others, so make sure you add some tissues to your order.The writing is beautiful, the characters are wonderfully crafted and expertly delivered and I'm not even going to start on how sensual and erotic the sex scenes are. And there are a lot of them!Ms Takenouchi has a true way with words and manages to fill this series with so much exposition it's bursting from the pages, and yet the writing never feels bogged down. She threads description and plot around dialogue and character action like an embroiderer weaving a tapestry with golden thread. Or should I say Blonde?Masterfully crafted and beautifully illustrated, this series will be the crown jewel in your collection just as it has been mine for so many years. Do yourself a favor. Buy. These. Books. But don't just buy the first one. Order them all right now, because I guarantee you won't be able to put them down and you can save yourself the shipping costs!
